Lenkoran is located on the Caspian on the southeast corner of Azerbaijan.  Lenkoran Kazak rugs characteristically have a series of “tortoise” figures. The ground or field color of Lenkoran Kazak rugs is usually dark. The warp is dark or brownish, with double weft threads of brown or rusty red.
