Is Scotchguard Protection Worth it?
We are often asked what does Scotchguard do to my rug? The shortest answer is that it gives you an added layer of protection from spills and dirt. The long answer is that it provides a layer of Teflon on the surface of the rug that will repeal most liquids, allowing spills to be removed before staining and wicking can occur.
Scotchguard is applied by spray application after cleaning. It dries quickly and leaves no odor or sheen. It is non-toxic and safe to use around family and pets. We recommend it for rugs in high traffic areas, under the dining room table and in kitchen areas. If you have kids or a new puppy, scotchguarding your rug is highly recommended.
Protect your investment and extend the amount of time between cleanings. It’s worth it!
